The department is comprised of 13 volunteers that meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at the Fire Station at 202 Lincoln.
The mission of the Smyer Volunteer Fire Department is to protect persons and property by continuing to provide quality and effective fire suppression and rescue services to the citizens of Smyer and Hockley County.
